Meet the PSO Board

KATIE BRZEZINSKI - PSO PRESIDENT
Katie is a mom of 3 - Jake (5th), Ryan (4th), and Annie (Kindergarten). This will be her family's 6th year at PCCS. She loves the family feel of the PCCS community. Katie got her start with the PSO as a classroom coordinator and she felt she could give back to the PCCS community by stepping up as PSO President. Katie is a stay-at-home mom who in her free time loves to go for walks in the prairie, Disney World, Target runs, read, or binge watch her favorite show (at the moment it is Ted Lasso).

BECKY MOSHER - PSO VICE PRESIDENT
Becky Mosher is thrilled to be Vice President of the PSO for the third year. She has 2 boys, Evan (4th grade) and Josh (2nd grade). This is their family’s 5th year at PCCS and she absolutely loves the small, close knit community, as well as raising the kids with a love and appreciation of nature. Becky works half time outside of the home as the Director of Christian Education at Wildwood Presbyterian Church. When she’s not at work or helping with the PSO, Becky drives her boys to every sport that was ever created, watches movies with her husband, Matt, and loves crafting and crocheting.

LAURA TRUAX - PSO TREASURER
Laura is a mom to Finley (6th) and Dax (3rd). This will be her family's 7th year at PCCS. She fell in love with PCCS because of the extra outdoor learning. Laura manages Retirement Benefits, and has loved numbers and spreadsheets for decades, so when the PSO Treasurer position opened, she knew it was a great way to get more involved at the school. Likes: watching her kids play sports, being outdoors, hanging with friends, and puns. Dislikes: being cold, closed mindedness, mosquitos, and being hangry.

REBECCA DAUGHERTY - PSO SECRETARY
Rebecca is a mother of 3 boys - Connor (6th grade), Ian (4th), and Sean (Kindergarten). Her boys are entering their 4th year at PCCS and love the nurturing environment created in the classrooms and the opportunities to get out and learn from the world around us. After many years as a Brand Manager, she has enjoyed the last few years as a stay-at-home parent. Rebecca and her husband, John, are University of Illinois alumni and love to cheer on the Illini football and basketball teams. ILL-! Rebecca stepped into the PCCS PSO Secretary role last year and is also active in volunteering in her sons' Cub Scout Pack as Treasurer and Den Admin, as well as local Meals on Wheels. When not acting as family chauffeur and chaos wrangler, Rebecca enjoys reading romance novels, crocheting, bike-riding, movie-watching, escaping to Target, and eating ice cream.
